Originally from Auckland, Chris pursued his passion for science by earning a Bachelor of Science degree followed by Honours in Biomedical Science at the University of Auckland. However, after a few years of working in the lab, he realised that he wanted to make a difference in people's lives more directly.
In pursuit of his passion, Chris moved to Melbourne to study medicine at Deakin University. After graduating he gained invaluable experience working in hospitals around the city for two years. In 2017, Chris returned to Auckland with his wife and completed further hospital training. He joined the Silverdale Medical team in 2019, where he quickly found was a wonderful environment to practice.
As a Fellow of the New Zealand College of General Practitioners (FRNZCGP), Chris is committed to providing compassionate care to his patients. He loves the variety and challenges that come with general practice, building relationships with patients, and working with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
When he's not at work, Chris loves spending time with his three children, family, and friends. He also enjoys watching TV shows and is always open to recommendations for a new binge-worthy series.
