Dr. Andrew Han was born in South Korea, and he came to NZ with his family when he was 11 years old. Since then, he grew up in North Shore and graduated from University of Auckland medical school. Before starting his career as a general practitioner. he had worked in various specialties in North Shore and Auckland City hospitals as a junior doctor. He has finished all the GP specialty training and has been a fellow of Royal New Zealand of College of GPs since 2021.
He enjoys all different aspects of medicine, but he particularly enjoys general medicine, older people's health and preventative medicine. He has taken further postgraduate studies of applied nutrition and exercise science to have a wider range of proficiency in understanding the importance of lifestyle conditioning for well-being.
Besides English, Andrew is fluent in Korean and enjoys serving the Korean community through his expertise.
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys weight training, hiking and spending time with his wife.
