Peter is a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (FRNZCGP). He completed his medical degree (MBChB) at the University of Glasgow, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Paediatrics from the University of Auckland. He also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Teaching and a Master of Science in Dermatology (UK), awarded with distinction.
Peter is actively involved in medical education as a GP teacher with the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners and serves as an Honorary Academic and Lecturer at the University of Auckland.
As a general practitioner, Peter values a collaborative, patient-centred approach, working in partnership with patients to achieve the best possible health outcomes. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, and enjoys caring for patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Outside of medicine, Peter is married and enjoys spending time with his family. He is an avid photographer and a keen badminton and table tennis player.
