Dr Shelly Lee grew up in Rotorua and then moved to Auckland where she graduated from the Auckland Medical School in 2017.
Shelly started her medical career in various hospitals in Auckland and Waikato regions and has transitioned into work in primary care for the last 5 years, working as a GP and an urgent care doctor.
Shelly enjoys the diverse nature of medicine that she has been exposed to. This has allowed her to meet patients with various backgrounds and she says that she enjoys the long-term relationships with her patients, their whanau and the community.
Shelly has recently moved from Hamilton and looks forward to providing care to our clients at Silverdale Medical Centre and its satellite clinics.
Her special interests include children's health, older people's health, acute medicine and preventative primary care.
Outside of work, she enjoys doing pilates, going for a walk or hiking, spending time with friends and family, and loves looking for a place with a good cup of coffee.
